I spent over 15 years as GM and Managing Partner of Classic Cup Café on the Country Club Plaza before moving on to Atlanta Bread Company where I was a franchisee with two Kansas City locations. I love building personal relationships with our guests and motivating my employees makes me tick.”

“I started in my mom’s kitchen at the age of 4. At the age of 13 I moved into professional kitchens and until my late teens, when I discovered a passion for photography. I jumped back into the restaurant industry by joining the BOH team at Morton’s Steakhouse, where I spent 7 years until I was pormoted to Sous Chef. I moved to La Bodega in 2008, and have been the Executive Chef at The Originale location ever since. After nearly 20 years in the industry, I love making people happy, but I love food more. It’s always bacon, though I was a vegetarian until I was 17.”

“A Kansas native, grew up in Shawnee and have spent most of my life in Kansas City. I spent two years in Colorado for college and have been working locally in restaurants since the mid 90’s. Along the way I have met some great people and really have a passion for this business and meeting new people. My family and I love the outdoors and spending time together, biking, walks, watching movies together on our screened porch, with our cats and Royals games. My wife and I love to try new restaurants and going to my sons baseball games.”

I grew up in central Missouri and moved to Kansas City in 2006.  I began my tutelage in hotels, which not only allowed me to hone my skills in Mediterranean cuisine; but also, lends me a fresh look at hospitality which I now have to offer my new La Bodega family.  However, it was my own family that taught me the most important lesson of my career:  the food is not as important as the people with whom you eat, drink, laugh and share.  We don’t just make delicious food and drink – we make memories, and that is where my passion stems from and I’m happy to have found a staff that shares that sentiment and is eager to cultivate the passion within us all.
