Job Description
  • The Sauté Cook or Line Cook will maintain a well-operated station and assist the chefs. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes with proper cooking, portions, and service
  • Keep a well-organized and clean station
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition
  • Abide by opening, closing, and running side work checklists
  • Keep up with assigned daily prep items
  • Check in delivered product, when needed
  • Assist in execution of special event and holiday menus when necessary
  • Assist in outside events and catering as needed
  • Check and maintain proper health department regulations on a daily basis

 

Required Skills/Qualifications
  • 1+ years experience in a related position
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Proven track record of good work history and stability Excellent cooking skills
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

 

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours
  • Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the store to others Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 50 pounds on occasion and 35 pounds regularly
  • Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
